Kroll Inc. – the world’s leading risk consulting company – has appointed Robert Heller as managing director in its Computer Forensics and Secure Information Services practice. He will be based in Dallas, Texas and will be responsible for leading and adding to Kroll’s experienced team of computer forensics and information security professionals in the region.
As managing director, Mr. Heller will ensure that client engagements in the areas of computer forensics, information security, data breach response and litigation support achieve expectations and align with the firm’s strategic business vision. In addition to overseeing a team of experts specializing in electronic investigation, incident response, advising, analysis, and reporting, Mr. Heller will bolster new business development and the continuity of long-term relationships in the region.
“Robert’s training in electronic evidence preservation and analysis and his work as a testifying expert in computer forensics lend exceptional depth to Kroll’s position as a global first responder,” said Karen Schuler, Certified Fraud Examiner, senior managing director and practice leader. “From his extensive experience in managing complex electronic investigations to his superb client management capabilities he is an ideal leader for our practice in Texas and the Southwest.”
Prior to joining Kroll, Mr. Heller was a partner and operations manager in D6 Consulting’s E-Discovery and Forensic Technology firm in Dallas, Texas. A member of the High Technology/Crime Investigation Association and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, he has been consulting on computer forensics, discovery, data recovery and litigation matters for more than 15 years.
