Kroll names Deena Coffman as Senior Managing Director, Information Security, Forensics and Data Breach

Kroll Inc., the world’s leading risk consulting company, has appointed Deena Coffman as senior managing director in its Information Security, Forensics and Data Breach practice. She will be based at Kroll’s headquarters in New York City and will focus on expanding the data analytics capabilities of the division.

As senior managing director, Ms. Coffman will ensure that client engagements in the areas of computer forensics, information security, data breach response, and data analytics achieve expectations and align with the firm’s strategic business vision. In addition to overseeing a team of experts, Ms. Coffman will bolster Kroll’s data analytics services related to investigation, data breach, dispute, or other matters where large amounts of information are involved. These services include data identification; extraction and verification; data cleansing; and data mining and analysis.

“Deena has extensive knowledge in risk mitigation, records management, discovery policies and procedures, and litigation support that is coupled with international team management and hands-on consulting experience, making her a perfect fit for Kroll,” said Karen Schuler, Certified Fraud Examiner, senior managing director and practice leader.  “Her experience with international standards for discovery makes her an ideal asset for Kroll’s global clientele.”

Prior to joining Kroll, Ms. Coffman was a senior manager of analytic and forensic technology at Deloitte Financial Advisory Services, LLP. She has been consulting on the handling of data as evidence for legal and regulatory investigation for almost 20 years and providing guidance on discovery process improvement and cost reduction for 10 years.
