Central Time (2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Eastern)
Hosted by Kroll Fraud Solutions

You operate in a complex risk environment where patient care involves much more than medical treatment—it also involves keeping patient information secure.

Join Kroll's Alan Brill and John Mullen of Nelson Levine de Luca & Horst, LLC, for an insightful look into the healthcare industry’s greatest data security threats, with practical tips on how your organization can safeguard patient information across the continuum of care.

Cyber criminals have targeted the healthcare industry for a long time, and they’ve become quite adept at infiltrating organizational networks—often staying there without detection for months or even years. As you move toward virtualization of patient data to support efficient delivery of care, it’s more critical than ever to embrace security protocols that extend your defense beyond the perimeter.

Topics to be covered include:

  • The evolution of cyber risk
  • Recognizing the symptoms of an intrusion
  • Why protecting the perimeter is no longer enough
  • Using a defense-in-depth strategy to combat data security threats
  • What you should do now to ensure effective incident management and response later

Who Should Attend:

  • Privacy Officers
  • Ethics and Compliance Officers
  • Security Officers
