Karen Schuler, Certified Fraud Examiner and practice leader of Kroll’s Cyber Security & Information Assurance business has been selected to speak at the International Association for Asset Recovery (IAAR) Third Annual Conference, Winning the Endgame of Financial Crime, Nov. 17-18 at the Planet Hollywood Resort in Las Vegas.
Schuler will address the latest trends and techniques in asset recovery as part of four sessions:
“Because of our global presence and frontline experience remediating technical threats and incidents, Kroll has a unique perspective on the issues being highlighted by the IAAR this year,” said Schuler. “Asset recovery is vital within so many industries, from government entities to financial institutions to healthcare organizations. I am looking forward to the opportunity to bring Kroll’s experience to the table and also to learn from other speakers and attendees with firsthand knowledge of how they apply their expertise to recovering assets for victim organizations or consumers.”
As a recognized risk management expert and author with more than 20 years of professional services experience, Schuler oversees a highly skilled team at Kroll that is focused on responding to network threats and data breaches, and remediating and restoring corporate assets and consumer identities. She has a diverse background in forensics, discovery, and technology consulting, from C-suite roles to hands-on investigative work to providing expert witness testimony.
IAAR is an international member association that provides certification, news and specialized information, training, and community to the worldwide public and private sector specialists that trace and recover assets.
